Published on: October 30th, 2023 Updated on: December 16th, 2023

The kingdom of God is about to come!" While we hear that claim, especially during the Israel and Hammas war, we must search God's Word to see if it is true. When this is done we find that the kingdom was begun in the first century on the day of Pentecost! This video seeks to encourage all to honestly handle the word of God and enter into the kingdom of God so that we can spend an eternity in heaven. We encourage all to open their Bibles, be noble, and seek the Bible's truth (Acts 17:11).

When we examine what we discuss here at the 39th Street Church of Christ, it includes topics like the church itself and its importance. We also delve into the significance of baptism as a requirement for being a part of that church. At times, people become somewhat agitated because our teachings differ from what they typically hear in the religious world. They may question, "Why don't you just preach Jesus?" Are we saved by faith only?

Published on: October 21st, 2023 Updated on: December 16th, 2023

The notion of salvation by faith alone is a widely recognized doctrine in the religious world, but its alignment with the word of God is a matter of debate. Some religious groups assert that salvation by faith alone is a profoundly comforting and wholesome doctrine. However, when examined through the lens of God's word, it may not provide genuine comfort and could be perceived as a false comfort propagated by human doctrines. We encourage all to open their Bibles, be noble, and search to see the Bible's truth (Acts 17:11).
