"Can I just follow whatever my preacher says?" Well, the answer is, "Yes, you can." But if you want to understand the problems that arise from that approach, take a look at the religious world. There are numerous different teachings, with each denominational group having its own set of beliefs, resulting in division. However, this is not what Jesus prayed for in John 17. He prayed for unity, emphasizing that oneness is achieved through the word.

Reflect on this: God warns us in 2 Timothy 4 that there will be those who seek out teachers to satisfy their itching ears. This implies that many teachers will simply say what people want to hear to gain followers. However, God has a different plan for us. He directs us to adhere to the enduring words of Jesus, as outlined in Matthew 28:18-20, which are meant to last until the end of the world.

God cautions against changing or deviating from these teachings. It's essential to remain steadfast in the unchanging truth rather than being swayed by the allure of teachings that cater to personal preferences.

We encourage all to open their Bibles, be noble, and seek the Bible's truth (Acts 17:11).
