Is baptism important? That's a question we often hear in the religious world, and the general consensus seems to be that it's not. You may hear statements such as it's an outward sign of inward salvation," but the problem with that statement is that it doesn't align with the standard set by the Bible. You'll never find that statement made in the Bible. However, what you do find is Jesus saying in Matthew 28:18-20 that he has all power and authority. His command then was: "And Jesus came and spoke unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen." We encourage all to open their Bibles, be noble, and search to see the Bible's truth (Acts 17:11).
