Are we saved by faith only?

The notion of salvation by faith alone is a widely recognized doctrine in the religious world, but its alignment with the word of God is a matter of debate. Some religious groups assert that salvation by faith alone is a profoundly comforting and wholesome doctrine. However, when examined through the lens of God's word, it may not provide genuine comfort and could be perceived as a false comfort propagated by human doctrines.
